The locking pins are solid; the pin stays place even when brushed by a shoulder bag strap or backpack strap. I LOVE the pins and vinyl stickers I bought. The quality and service far exceeded my expectations. Sometimes when you order something online it comes looking nothing like what you ordered, but I'd say the reverse is true here, these pins are gorgeous! So clean and shiny.
