Oleander Hawkmoth (Daphnis nerii) Enamel Pin

This gorgeous Oleander Hawkmoth enamel pin features the beautiful insect that is also known as the Army Green Hawk Moth or by its scientific name, Daphnis nerii. Considered one of the most beautiful hawkmoths in the world, oleander hawkmoths are most active at night. They feed on flower nectar as adult moths and eat the leaves of the oleander plant as caterpillars. This hard enamel pin is approximately 2.25" from tip to tip and features a palette of green, white, orange and yellow. This hard enamel pin is set on a highly-polished gold-plated metal and has two posts on the back.
