This Octans La Plata Dolphin (Pontoporia blainvillei) Enamel Pin is a tribute to the constellation and the porpoise. The Octans constellation takes its name from the octant, an instrument used in navigation. La Plata dolphins live in the ocean near the eastern coast of South America from Brazil to Argentina. This hard enamel pin is set on a highly-polished gold-plated metal is 1.5" and has two posts on the back.

the item must have gotten stuck in shipmen...

the item must have gotten stuck in shipment, but it took a much longer time to arrive than previous shipments! it's alright, I don't think it was the seller's fault, it had already been shipped so there wasn't anything to do- but do beware, it could take 3 weeks if it happens to anyone else!

Pictures absolutely don't do this seller's...

Pictures absolutely don't do this seller's pins justice. I was shocked at how gorgeous they were in person, and they came packaged safely and securely with each pin separated so they wouldn't scratch each other up. I'm kicking myself that I waited so long to finally order after stalking the shop for months. I'm already budgeting for more in the future!
