This lovely Common Mormon Butterfly enamel pin depicts the beautiful insect. These butterflies are also known by their scientific name of, Papilio polytes. Common Mormons are widely seen in tropical, sub-tropical and meadow areas. They can even be found in suburban areas and cities provided they have access to their preferred host plants that include key lime trees, orange trees and other citrus plants. This hard enamel pin is 1.5" from tip-to-tip and is set on a highly-polished gold-plated metal. This pin has two posts on the back.
