The Bryde's Whale (pronounced Broo-dus) is a baleen type whale whose range is the warm and temperate oceans of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans. This Bryde's Whale pin depicts one of these beautiful whales with a bioluminescent type of design along its body, the "bioluminescent" portions are UV reactive (glow-in-the-dark) and will emit a cool blue glow after being exposed to sunlight, UV torches or a very bright lightbulb. The amount of glow and length of time this pin glows depends on the strength of the light, type of light and how long it has been exposed to it. This Bioluminescence Bryde's Whale pin features a green blue color palette, the darker bands of green glow-in-the-dark. This hard enamel pin is a little more than 3" in length and is set on a highly-polished gold-plated metal and features two posts on the back.
