Pink Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) Enamel Pin

This beautiful pink lotus enamel pin features the gorgeous flower that's also known by its scientific name, Nelumbo nucifera. There are different types of lotus plants including, the American Lotus (Nelumbo lutea) which typically has pale yellow flowers and the Asian Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) which has pink or white flowers. Asian Lotus plants are also called Padma or sacred lotus, they grow in various bodies of water such as ponds, lakes, rivers and flood plains where their tall stalks hold their beautiful flowers above the water. The lotus is the national flower of Vietnam and India.

This pin is 2.25" tall and is plated with a highly polished gold plating with hard enamel and three posts on the back. The colors used in this pin include pink and green.
