This beautiful Mini Astrolabe gold pin is a decorative artistic interpretation of the classical instrument used to identify stars, planets, determine latitude and more. Astrolabes date back to ancient times and are highly versatile tools with gorgeous detailing. This miniature astrolabe is the small version of my large 3" Astrolabe. This pin is all gold-plated metal and has three pieces total. The top plate and middle plate on this mini astrolabe rotate 360 degrees. This is pin is plated in highly polished gold metal and measures 1.5" round, it has two posts on the back.

NOTE: Due to the delicate features of this item, each unit will be wrapped in a small sheet of bubble wrap and shipped in a sturdy padded mailer.

I'm absolutely THRILLED to have this piece of interactive rotating art. I play a DND campaign and my character wears a functioning astrolabe from his backstory as a necklace, and so when I saw this, I thought, I could metaphorically have a piece of him with me wherever I go now! It's beautiful and so fun to show off. Thank you so much for being creative enough to come up with this enamel pin!

Amazing!! I've been wanting to get my hand...

Amazing!! I've been wanting to get my hands on one of these for a while and hoo boy let me tell you if you want a literal piece of art to wear around this should be it. The quality and attention to detail is one of the best I've ever seen and the locking mechanism was very easy to learn how to use. A collectors piece for sure!
