Pink Peony (Paeonia × suffruticosa) Enamel Pin

This beautiful pink peony botanical flower enamel pin features the tree flower that is also known as Paeonia × suffruticosa. Delicate and spectacular, these flowers grow on their respective tree and are often referred to as tree peonies. The blooms come in colors ranging from purple-red to pink and white and can be spotted in spring and into summer. These peonies have been the national flower of China since the early 19th Century and is sometimes referred to as the, "king of flowers". A different type of peony, the Paeonia peregrina, is the national flower of Romania. A type of peony is also the state flower of Indiana.

This pin is 2.5" tall and is plated with a highly polished gold plating with hard enamel and three posts on the back. The colors used in this pin include two light pinks and two light greens.
