Colorado Hairstreak Butterfly (Hypaurotis crysalus) Enamel Pin

This beautiful Colorado Hairstreak Butterfly (Hypaurotis crysalus) enamel pin features the insect native to Southwestern parts of the United States and Northern Mexico. These butterflies can be found on Gambel oak trees which they use to lay their eggs, eat and grow then build their cocoons to later emerge as butterflies.This hard enamel pin is 2" from tip-to-tip and is set on a highly-polished gold plated metal its color palette consists of dark blue-purple, purple and yellow-orange colors. This pin has two posts on the back.
