Bearded Iris (Iris germanica) Enamel Pin

This gorgeous blue bearded iris flower botanical enamel pin features the beautiful flower that's also known by its scientific name, Iris germanica or its other names, the Common Flag, German Iris or Rhizomatous Iris. There are manny different types of iris with Bearded Iris being one of the most recognizable. Irises are grown for their showy flowers and are often seen planted in gardens. Wild irises such as Iris virginica or Iris versicolor are hardy perennial plants that grow widely in the North Hemisphere. The iris is the national flower of France (referred to as the fleur-de-lis), Croatia and Jordan.

This pin is 2.5" tall and is plated with a highly polished gold plating with hard enamel and three posts on the back. The colors used in this pin include blue, yellow and green.
