Kookaburra Enamel Pin

This cute Kookaburra Enamel Pin features the fascinating bird from Australia with a very distinctive call. Sometimes called the Laughing Kingfisher, Kookaburras make their homes in forests and woodlands. This pin is around 1.5" from tip to tip and was my Patreon Award for April 2023. This hard enamel pin is set on a highly-polished gold-plated metal and has two posts on the back.

ABOUT THIS DESIGN
The Kookaburra is well known for its call and is sometimes referred to as a Laughing Kingfisher. Its name is an onomatopoeia of its call! I thought kookaburras were such a fun creature, and I love the sound of their distinctive bird calls so I dedicated April 2023's Patreon rewards to this fantastic bird.
